WHERE TO STAY – accommodations

For those who want to stay over at a hotel in Malmo, we’ll not be suggesting the hotel above, although that would be cool, we admit. But we’ll suggest a few almost as great options for you, depending on your preference and budget of course.

Cecilia will be happy to provide you with 3 options – budget / mid-range / classy. And of course it’s about location, location, location. You’ll not find any of the suggestions far far away from Malmo city. We will update this as soon as we have some great options.

We will not reveal whether or not we’ll spending our wedding night at home or else where. We don’t want to have any bread crumbs in the bed. Ha!

UPDATE – June 23!

We have found three places to stay. But we highly recommend the newly built hotel – Clarion hotel Malmö Live. It’s more luxurious, but we got the good value price there and it’s very close to the centralstation. The pick-up point will be at Malmö Live, we have permission to bring two buses and pick all of you up.

A) The classy Malmö Live: Single – 850 sek incl breakfast / per night  // Double room – 1 050 sek incl breakfast / per night. They promised to keep the rooms up until 4.00 pm, if you book from July 18th. Check in time is 3 pm (15.00) however, but for you that will check in the same day please state that you’ll need an early check-in and send an email to Cecilia so she can try to organise it for all of you that need it. If you want to book this hotel, which we highly recommend, please use the forms specially made for The Toby & Michi Wedding at the latest July 2, 2015 to be sure to have a room. B) The mid-range The More Hotel: This hotel isn’t as flashy, but is fairly good. Although slightly pricier actually. You’ll have to walk cross the city, though, to get to the pick-up point. We got these prices – Studio Superior 40 kvm – Single 1 145 sek incl breakfast  // Studio Superior 40 kvm – Two person pers 1 345kr inkl breakfast. They might have some summer offerings. C) The budget STF Hostel Malmö City: They don’t have fixed prices, they vary depending on the demand, but usually are between 200 – 875 sek/night depending on what type of room and membership (which can be bought on arrival). See the website here: STF Hostels Malmö City
